The July 3 minyan consisted of 6 people sitting around eating ice cream and discussing the Jewish meaning of Independence. It was great, but we remembered — too late — that we hadn’t told anyone we would not be holding services outdoors in 100-degree heat! Nature is nice, but that’s mishugennah!
